I've managed several teams of 5-7 engineers as we work to introduce new customer and business facing functionality to the web and mobile eCommerce experience of this direct-to-consumer menswear brand.

Certified Leader and practitioner of the Scalable Agile Framework (SAFe). Product Owner and technical lead of several key business initiatives including a high risk migration of 3rd Party Logistics (distribution center) partners. Champion of service and event oriented architecture, as we work to decompose a large Rails monolith into individually deployable & scalable microservices and serverless applications, integrated via Kafka messaging bus and provisioned with infrastructure as code. Leader of DevOps best practices and culture, revamped on-call schedule and incident response plan, introduced the MALT stack (Metrics, Alerting, Logging, Tracing), as well as monthly Lunch & Learns and tech book club. I work closely with our recruiting team to optimize our hiring pipeline, formalize our candidate criteria and assessment, and attract & retain brilliant engineers.
